Community Advisor: Dave Davies

Jack has been involved in environmental activism all his life, has volunteered with many organizations and continues to volunteer much of his time to environmental issues. When the opportunity arose to receive training in Salmonid Habitat Skills in 1997 he jumped on the chance, learned about issues facing salmonids was hired as the technical Coordinator for the Tsolum River Restoration Society in 1998. In 2003 Jack joined the Board of Directors of the Comox Valley Land Trust. With this organization he was instrumental in creating a Regional Conservation Strategy for the Comox Valley.

Jack has since become the Executive Director for both organizations and sits as Chair of the Local Government Implementation Team of the since renamed, Comox Valley Conservation Strategy.

Jack joined SEHAB in 2004 and in 2010 was named Chair. Jack encourages everyone to visit the websites listed.
