- Lack of knowledge about upcoming issues
Groups having difficulties keeping knowledgeable staff and volunteers
SEP program and facilities maintenance - some infrastructure funding but no maintenance funding
Community Advisors - Position updates there are still areas without CA’s or only acting CA’s (these positions need to be long term career positions to develop the necessary relationships with the community partners)
Lack of money to finish Bowie Seamount Plan - upper park is protected but not lower fishing area Plan seems to have been diluted
Inability to get fish carcasses for educational dissections
Access to resources for education - eggs, projects etc. Demand is up but there is at least a 13% cut
30% or more of funding loss to groups to carry out their education, restoration and stewardship work
